Owen Danoff, a local musician who wrote his first song when he was 16, has already influenced the D.C. music scene. He started performing in summer 2010 at his local coffeehouse/music venue Jammin’ Java in Vienna. Since then, he has grown in his repertoire and even performed at the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage. People describe his pop/rock sound as a marriage of Jakob Dylan (& the Wallflowers) and Taylor Swift. Some of his influences include John Mayer, Johnny Cash and Green Day. Listen to his new song “Never Trust A Man” and let us know what you think.
