While Neal Becton has had success and been in operation at Som Records since 2005, it hasn’t always been easy. Especially in a day and age when people tend to find their music online, either through iTunes or illegal downloads, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to keep people interested in the small, independent record store.

But while there are myriads of similar companies, what sets Kushner’s group apart is their ability to tailor the musical experience for each client.
