“I am God” Early in his book “Wishes Fulfilled: Mastering the Art of Manifesting” Wayne Dyer encourages his readers to declare this bold statement. The key to manifesting your desires, Dyer believes, is recognizing your divine nature and live from that. Now this statement will immediately cause some readers to toss the book aside. “Much of organized religious teaching proclaims that God is an all powerful being outside of you,” Dyer says. People of that mindset will no doubt consider “Wishes Fulfilled” heresy. I would encourage you to stick with Dyer and let him explain this different concept of God than what you may be familiar with. “There exists within all of us a Divine spark, called the I am that I am, and when it is kindled and nourished, it is capable of miracle-making at an astonishing level,” Dyer writes. Two keys to “miracle-making”, says Dyer, are your imagination and feelings. “Once you place a thought into your imagination about who you want to become, I encourage you to live from that end, as if it had already materialized into the physical realm,” he writes. And “when you are able to passionately feel whatever it is that you wish to have or become, as long as it is aligned with your highest self – that is, God – you become it and it becomes you.” I liked these ideas and looked backed at the accomplishments in my own life. Did I not first “imagine” that I could create something special, and “feel” it was possible, before my past visions became reality? Yes! Reading Dyer’s detailed explanation of this process encouraged me to make these mental exercises a part of my daily routine. I created a one page summary of the book’s key points and pasted it to my “quote wall” at home, where I look at it every day. I am excited to see what future “miracles” occur in my life by following these principles. Dyer gives many examples throughout the book from his own life and from others on how this process can change lives. One in particular I was impressed with was the story of Anita Moorjani, a woman who was on the brink of death yet healed herself of cancer after a realization of her true loving nature. Dyer also touches on other spiritual phenomena, like the presence of mysterious “orbs” in photographs at his lectures, and his own remote healing from the Brazilian “John Of God”. Wayne Dyer in my opinion is one of the great spiritual teachers alive on the planet today. “Wishes Fulfilled” is another in his series of inspirational books that have had a positive impact on my life. “Let your imagination explore your invisible realm in a way that will allow this new energy to permeate your life,” Dyer suggests. “Move to a place within yourself where Wishes Fulfilled is a new way of being rather than just the title of a book.” This is another book review in my partnership with Hay House. I was not financially compensated for this post. I received the book from Hay House for review purposes. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience.

I love Wayne dyer! His books have helped me immensely over the past several years. His ideas agree with and enhance the concepts I already hold true. For example, he spent he first chapter of this book telling his readers that it is okay to believe that you're divine and a part of god. That is what I already believe. Testimonial alert! I tried out his manifesting instructions. I injured my feet a couple months ago and every morning I can barely walk due to pain and stiffness. After a few days of I love Wayne dyer! This is a Law of Attraction book. It has all of the standard concepts that are typically presented in these types of writings and it remains faithful to the efforts by Holmes, Fillmore and Neville, who is referenced heavily throughout the book. Dyer also places a lot of emphasis on the idea of "I AM" and living as a being of love from your highest, godly self. The basic steps to Dyer's practice include: * Imagine a clear picture of your desired life. * Live from that mental picture. * Assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled. * Apply subjective attention to keep the dream alive. * Hold the vision in your mind just prior to entering the sub/unconscious world of sleep. I'm new to the ideas of New Thought and have just started my studies. The older texts are esoteric but Dyer makes the concepts easy to understand using modern analogies and providing examples from his life.

I chose to read this book after watching Dr. Wayne Dyer's special on PBS. I am a huge fan, but seeing the special gave me the urgency to read it now. If you have struggled with trying to tap into the "feeling" of what it is that you want to manifest (a key to getting your wishes fulfilled), Dr. Dyer offers sound concepts on getting yourself there. In this book, Dr. Dyer addresses what has long been a criticism of the loa movement- the concern about selfishness. He shows that the ego gets in the way of manifesting and that when we move to our higher self, we set aside the ego and approach our wishes from a place of the divine and pure love. I appreciate that he writes about things he practices and studies heavily- so I immediately felt the authenticity bubble up. There were several instances while reading this book, that I felt tears stream down my face. I was touched by his generosity when sharing Nicollete's healing story- a young woman he met in Maui. I was touched when he shared about a healer-John of God, and I loved his account of his experience on his trip to Assisi.

I have read Wayne Dyer off and on through the years, and I have always liked his message, though not always his tone. In this offering, Dyer seems a bit more humble, perhaps because of unwanted life events that showed up on his doorstep. Dyer has always been a student and seeker as well as teacher, and he generously attributes his sources. Here he explores earlier New Thought writings, a friend's near death experience, various mysterious manifestations in his own life such as unexplainable orbs appearing in photographs, remote healing, and a past life regression. I was surprised that he was only now discovering the "I AM" teachings, and references an esoteric book that I read decades ago in my early twenties (and still have in my library). I felt that this effort of Dyer's, which is relatively short, was not all that cohesive, rambling off topic from the "Wishes Fulfilled" theme to cover various events occurring in his life. I did like his treatment of the "I AM" as your Highest Self, and his explanation for a mostly Christian audience of its compatibility with Jesus' teachings. This is a good book for those open-minded enough to receive his message. Wishes Fulfilled is a current treatment of esoteric teachings that have been around since at least the 1930's and 40's, with a nod to past life regression which seemed to have had its heyday in the 80's and early 90's, as well as the popular topic of NDE's and newer phenomena. However, for those who are well-versed in metaphysical teachings as well as the law of attraction, there is nothing new here. But Wayne Dyer does deserve credit for broaching these topics as he continues on his own journey towards spiritual self-awareness.

This is one book I absolutely LOVED!! I have read so many books by Dr Wayne Dyer, and this is by far his best one. He talks about the importance of the words 'I AM' and how we can use these two words to manifest our deepest desires. Seriously, what could we not achieve by using those two words carefully. Point is, many, many, many of us don't even know how we weaken ourselves (and our spirits) by misusing those 2 words (e.g: I am weak, I am tired, I am not talented, I am not meant for this, I am This is one book I absolutely LOVED!! I know it's true. Ever wondered why half the things that happen to you aren't actually the things that you called for in your life? What are your deepest thoughts about yourself? Do you believe what others say about you? And what about all those negative noises that your mind makes? Dr Dyer takes us through the A to Z of 'wish fulfillment' keeping the reader at the center of the discussion at all times. He shares nuggets of wisdom from ancient and contemporary literature on the subject. Loved the way he quotes Neville Goddard and 'I AM' discourses of the Saint Germain Foundation. I think I wouldn't have been able to relate to this book had it come to me 20 years ago. But today, I can so relate to everything Dr Dyer says. I esp loved the last section of the book where he takes us through his hypnosis experience. That was bold. I would recommend this book to anybody who wants to lead a more fulfilling life. Strongly recommended to my entire GR family! Love and hugs. xx

It was with no surprise that I found Wishes Fulfilled, Mastering the Art of Manifesting, another jewel of inspiration. Full of extraordinary testimonies to the power of manifestation, the book provides fascinating insight into the law of attraction, presented in an easy to read format that flows peacefully within our minds. The examples that Dr. Dyer provides about his own life and his family's life as well as the lives of other people that come in contact with him in a synchronicity of events makes it even more interesting to relate to the teachings that are discovered in the book. It's an enriching volume of self-discovery and we need an open mind to absorb the messages presented in this book. Wishes Fulfilled is a lesson in self-discovery, self-esteem and the magic of believing in yourself and your strength to make you create your life in the best possible way. Thanks to Dr. Dyer, it's possible to see the world in a new, encouraging and positive way. I am that I am. Believe, and manifest. Believe that with God, all things are possible. That said, the messages presented were the usual post-Secret kind but had the author's particular twist to them. The part that concerned me was that the author proclaims that his method of positive thinking will heal all ills, however he himself is suffering from a serious disease and his wife left him. The method just doesn't seem to be working particularly well for him. In any case, the ideas and methods should provide at least some beneficial results for most readers who apply them. Of course, not all of us live a life of leisure in Hawaii like the author so they may need to be applied a bit more vigorously for those of us in the real world. Fans of the author should find this an intriguing addition to their libraries and Secret fans should find familiar themes.

I expected much more from this book. Sure, it probably is very helpful to follow the advice and I believe it may actually work if you're ready to start reprogramming your way of thinking which I'm not. What I didn't like about the book were all the religious and unnatural aspects of the book. There was just too much spirituality in all of this for such a non-believer as me. What I need is science, psychology, practicality, not someone mentioning God every other page as if you had to be religious I expected much more from this book. This book as apsolutely changed my life. I am a Pagan and many of what he was saying I was very ready to embrass and it was easy for me to understand. This is the most potent "magick" that I have ever done. I put his steps into practice every night before going to bed and I am telling you that EVERYTHING that I have wanted manifested in my life has come true 100 percent and those that have not yet, are in the works.

"Live as if what you desire is already here." Wayne Dyer is known for writing and teaching about the spiritual principles of manifesting that which we desire into our lives. Although some of the messages may seem repetitive from other books by Dr. Dyer and other authors of the same genre, Wishes Fulfilled provides an excellent explanation of our spiritual power to create into our lives the good things we imagine. The biggest lesson I learned from Wishes Fulfilled was the significance of beginning "Live as if what you desire is already here." Although some of the messages may seem repetitive from other books by Dr. Dyer and other authors of the same genre, Wishes Fulfilled provides an excellent explanation of our spiritual power to create into our lives the good things we imagine. The biggest lesson I learned from Wishes Fulfilled was the significance of beginning affirmations with the words "I Am". I learned that to think "I am" preceding anything you want and to actually feel the feelings of already being there totally takes away the possibility that it isn't already so. Beginning statements with "I am" has a spiritual significance, which Dr. Dyer spends an extensive amount of time explaining in this book. He discusses why the common practice of making statements beginning with "I am" that express what we don't want (such as "I am depressed", "I am upset") is so detrimental. "Use the last moments of your day before sleeping to reinforce in your mind your desires as fulfilled." For a while I have thought that it makes sense to meditate before going to bed, but hadn't developed this routine. Wayne Dyer explains in this book that we already have the opportunity to live the life we imagine during about a third of our lives, in our dream states while sleeping. He expresses the importance of thinking about what you want before falling asleep. I have spent way too many nights thinking about what I was dreading about the next day. What a relief to learn that not only do I not have to, it is not advised. I am currently looking to buy a home, and every night before I go to bed I close my eyes and actually feel like I am in the house that has all the details I am looking for. Not only do I believe it is helping my house search, it is really fun! I suggest giving it a try. I also feel as if everything else I want to have in my life is already here. I don't dread some meeting the next day as I am trying to fall asleep. Instead, I imagine that the next day is filled with all the things I love to do. I find that this whole business of acting as if is much easier to catch on to when my eyes are closed and everything is quiet, so right before bed is the perfect time to work on my dreams. I also do this first thing in the mornings when I am meditating. I have read many of Wayne Dyer's books and always enjoy them and learn from them. My only critique of Wishes Fulfilled was that the first three chapters seemed to drag on a bit about concepts that I felt I was already familiar with. This might have been because I have heard Dr. Dyer speak about these topics in the past. I think I was just eager to learn about the manifesting steps presented in the book. Overall, there are nothing but uplifting ideas coming from this book.

Wishes Fulfilled is a powerful and life altering read. Dr. Dyer explores the power of our imaginations. Stressing the fact that everything that exists on this earth, today, was once imagined and everything that will come into existence must first be imagined. In order to achieve our desires, we have to imagine those desires. In order to tap into our imaginations, we have to believe in our higher selves; that part of us that is beyond our changing physical bodies. We are spiritual beings. We come from a higher source, a source called by many different names, when we tap into that part of the source, which lives within each of us: all things are possible. In order to connect with our highest potential we often need to change our self-concepts. We have to put aside negative offerings of others and self doubt. Negativity sabotages our journeys. When we learn to perceive ourselves as higher beings, we can tap into our highest abilities. In the pages of “Wishes Fulfilled,” Dyer shares techniques for retraining your subconscious and changing your self-concept. He teaches us to “live from the end,” where we live as if things are already what we want them to be. He teaches us to not simply think about our desires, but to feel them. Words and thoughts have power. We control what we say and think. Our imaginations belong to us alone. When we take control of these things… we are in control of our lives.

The difference here is that, based on the “I AM Discourses” by Saint Germain, Dyer’s idea is not to bring about manifestation using affirmations such as “this is coming to me” or prayers petitioning God for what is needed or wanted, but rather convincing ourselves that we ARE God (without ego) and therefore, can bring anything we wish into manifestation in the world. Including forays into long-distance surgery and past (or parallel) life regressions, Dyer explains how and why to concentrate on believing that you already have whatever it is you want and how that feels, based on the foundational belief that imagination creates everything. Diagnosed with leukemia himself, 70-year-old Dyer uses his own experiences to illustrate his bottom line that love is all there is. It is who we all are and we have to be it -- not look for it or ask for it or want it -- just be it. This seems simultaneously simple and yet hard to understand much less to do. To be love, forgiveness, joy, abundance, happiness.... To stop thinking of anything you want as outside of yourself. This is not a totally new idea, but Dyer offers some specific concepts and exercises that may be tough to swallow. Some will consider it blasphemy, others simply harmless hogwash. Those who explore all kinds of religious and new thought meditations and ideas will find it an interesting, while not earth-shattering, addition to their repertoire. There’s also a companion meditation CD available.

I was interested in learning more about "Law of Attraction" after watching The Secret. I thought this would be good choice based off the number of reviews on Amazon. But this book failed to deliver what i expected. It doesn't talk much about how the "Law" works. All he says is imagine it and it will happen, and he repeats it for the next hundred pages. The reason i picked this book up was to know how the law works, and it doesn't deliver it. It has a lot of quotes from Bible and Jesus. If you are not a Christian, or an atheist like me, that is a big turn off, as i thought the "Law" was universal and not religiously-inclined. And there is a lot of self promotion. Infact i didn't read past the 7th chapter. Why? There are several pictures where the author talks about magical "Orbs" in photos taken by him and others, and he put the photos in the book. Those "orbs" are the light-reflected particles when you turn on flash in your camera! If you take a picture in dark, and u have your flash on, you have seen specks of dirt reflect the light and show off as blurred white dots in you pics. Everybody who uses a camera has seen this. The author says these "orbs" are beings from the other side guiding us. Waaat?? Yeah, i stopped reading and came in to write this review. If this book has been useful to anyone, good for them, but this book doesn't make sense for me.

I read this book (or rather listened to the audio version) after having seen Dyer on a PBS show. There is some wisdom in the book, wisdom that derives from some of Dyer's inspirations, like Lao Tzu and Ralph Waldo Emerson. And it offers some insight into the ways in which we limit ourselves psychologically and stunt our own development. Some of what Dyer says on this subject is similar to what Martin Seligman has argued in several books. But the book degenerates in parts into a kind of dreamy New Age mysticism. It talks about "orbs" and "surgery" done from afar by faith healers and past life regressions. I can't entirely discount such things, but I am skeptical, and Dyer's seemingly naive belief in them mars the book. I think of Dyer what I think of Choprah. He is either a clever con-man or, more likely, a muddled thinker who has found some wisdom in the teachings of the great philosophers and mixed it with a good deal of nonsense. Some readers will benefit from reading it, but there are better books on living well, like "A Guide to the Good Life: The Ancient Art of Stoic Joy" by Irvine.

WISHES FULFILLED is the best of the best that Dyer has written so far! And in the process, having all of our dreams and intentions come true. Although Dyer relies heavily on his own mentors and teachers, he presents complex ideas in such easy to understand language. I recommend WISHES FULFILLED to anyone whether they are seeking material fulfillment in this physical world or spiritual enlightenment. It is a book for Everyone!

I've read many books by today's most respected spiritual leaders, but this stands out as one of the best yet. It took me deeper than I'd been before, into thoughts about how we manifest our desires that I hadn't even considered. His discussions about the words "I AM" being the name of God, according to the ancient texts gave me an entirely new understanding of the power we have when we describe ourselves as I am this and I am that. And there was just so much more. I also bought the DVD, THE SHIF I've read many books by today's most respected spiritual leaders, but this stands out as one of the best yet. I loved this book and recommend it to every person seeking to improve her/his life.

Dit boek kwam 'bij toeval' op mijn pad en het past als een puzzelstuk bij de fase waarin ik nu zit. This book is filled with things to think about. Wayne Dryer has such a wonderful way of putting things so that he is completely understood. This book is for someone willing to think outside of the usual traditions of mainstream religions. Although he backs up a great deal of his writing with the teaches of Jesus and other spiritual leaders. A compelling book, one I will continue to think about and process for a long time.

I've read just about every one of Dr. Dyer's books and they never disappoint. His latest book really helped me to understand that I am God- not in an egotistical way- but that we are all God. We are truly all one too and Dr. Dyer helped me to understand that. I felt a bit more complex compared to past books, but I attribute that to different evolutions we all go through. His concepts in his book are things I believe in, but just must work to get there. :)

At first I did not get this book and then came back to it. If you are familiar with Dr. Wayne Dyer's work, you may be familiar with "when you are ready, the teacher appears". When you are ready this book is the teacher. This one is best on audible with author narrating. This is a book of 'I am'. I wish him good health and realize I have been following his work for more than 20 years! I am grateful!

This is too vague and weird for me. I am clearly not a manifesting woman. Certainly we are what we think. But the context configures how that self moves through space and time. Thoughts are powerful. But so is capitalism. So is injustice. So is discrimination. Thinking differently does not displace oppression.

Another classic by Wayne Dyer Wayne Dyer does a great job taking varying philosophies on a subject and making them easy to grasp and integrate into your life. This is a great book to keep you focused mentally on keeping your thoughts aligned with what you truly want your life to reflect.

I had been agnostic for at least 25 years, but when I ran across Wayne Dyer's teachings, they just made sense. The only complaint I have about this book is that I read the Kindle version, and I found none of the pictures included that the text referenced.

This is an excellent book. I cannot tell you how much this book means to me and how it changed my life. I had the privilege of speaking with Dr. Dyer several times and he was an amazing inspiration.
