    I loved this; the way the poems all link in a way that feels deliberate/tender/awkward. It made the whole collection so sprawling like it was trying to cover Everything from the inside out. Reading this felt like plane travel – complicated, frustrating, a lot of getting lost, a lot of vast gray light, seeing the world from very far away and then hitting it again with a big JOLT. I also just love reading about lesbian desire as sth desperate & wonderful that tears out of the middle of your ch I loved this; the way the poems all link in a way that feels deliberate/tender/awkward. It made the whole collection so sprawling like it was trying to cover Everything from the inside out. Reading this felt like plane travel – complicated, frustrating, a lot of getting lost, a lot of vast gray light, seeing the world from very far away and then hitting it again with a big JOLT. I also just love reading about lesbian desire as sth desperate & wonderful that tears out of the middle of your chest and can be gross/obscene/life-saving. My faves were TOTAL LOL and FUCKING UP ON THE ROCKS – they're funny and cutthroat and make an important step towards instituting a crucial prime rule of poetry, which is that All good poems are birthed, in some way, by frank o'hara.
